R Stamp Welding
Orbital Tool Technologies performs R stamp welding and holds the Certificate of Authorization and “R” stamp symbol for the repair and/or alteration of Steam Chests, pressure vessels and other pressure-retaining items. This means that we follow a rigorous Quality System to cover the scope of steam Chest repairs or alterations to be made.

After the repairs are made, Orbital Tool will complete the required forms and deliver it to the owner signed by an authorized inspector. Our welding technicians are fully certified in accordance with American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) Section IX standards. Certifications are kept up-to-date at all times through our computerized library of Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) and Welder Performance Qualifications (WPQ).
